Shannon Cohall, Esq.
Experience
Shannon Cohall assists clients in the healthcare, public health, and technology industries. She represents physicians, hospitals, medical groups, mental health organizations, public health nonprofits, home health agencies, tech startup companies, and other healthcare entities on federal and state compliance matters. Ms. Cohall advises clients on transactional and corporate matters, including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, supply, distribution and other commercial agreements, and restructurings. She also advises entrepreneurs with entity formation, regulatory compliance matters, intellectual property protection, and estate planning. She is passionate about helping her clients set up their new ventures and safeguard their legacy as well.
Ms. Cohall was an associate at an AmLaw200 firm in the Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice Group. During law school, she served as an Eagleton Law Fellow at the New Jersey Senate, where she advised elected officials on state health and public safety regulations. She also served as an intern for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, where she assisted with lease contract review and research on other legal issues. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Cohall worked in public health research and policy analysis in New York, New Jersey, and Missouri.
She serves on the Boards of many healthcare and educational nonprofit organizations. Ms. Cohall is actively involved in the local community, volunteering with youth empowerment programs and participating in local bar associations. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY!
